[origin: EP1126182A2] The actuator has a control element for reading a demand value in an electronic control circuit and an electromechanical converter for driving a mechanical actuator. The electronic control circuit contains a demand value damping stage with which the speed of displacement can be limited in the event of a change in demand value. The demand value damping stage has a limiter stage (14) between a summation point stage (12) and an integrator (18).
