Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1126351A1] The circuit has two transistors (T1,T2) with bases connected via a resistance (R1) and collectors connected to a supply voltage (Vdd). The first transistor base is connected to the supply voltage via a second resistor (R2) so a reference current flows through the resistances to earth as a result of the transistor base-emitter voltage difference. A reference voltage (Vref) related to the supply voltage can be tapped at the first transistor emitter.
