[origin: WO0023642A1] The invention relates to a thread gripper (13) for a rapier of a rapier loom, comprising two gripping elements for gripping a pick (2). Each gripping element comprises a gripping section (20, 25), and the two gripping sections of said elements are superimposed. The gripping section (20) of at least one gripping element can be adjusted relatively to the other gripping section (25) and its base body (18) by means of an adjusting device (30).
