[origin: US2001018920A1] The present invention relates to a device for applying a product to hair. The device may include a dispensing head configured to be coupled to a container. The dispensing head may include an applicator member and a screen. The applicator member may include at least one tooth configured to be placed in contact with hair and moved with respect thereto. The applicator member may also include a duct extending in the at least one tooth along an axial length of the at least one tooth. The duct may be capable of being placed in flow communication with the container. The applicator member may also include an outlet orifice for the duct. The outlet orifice can be oriented to provide outlet flow of product in a direction transverse to an axis of the at least one tooth. The screen may be arranged such that the screen and the at least one tooth define a volume. The volume may be configured to be capable of receiving the product dispensed from the outlet orifice and of having the hair pass through the volume when the applicator member is moved along the hair. Also provided is a method of applying a product to hair.

La présente demande concerne un dispositif (1) pour le conditionnement et l'application d'une composition, notamment de coloration, sur les cheveux, le dispositif comprenant au moins un récipient (2) contenant la composition, et une tête de distribution (10) couplée au récipient, ladite tête de distribution comportant un organe d'application (20), formé d'au moins une dent (21) traversée axialement par un canal (30) apte à être mis en communication avec le récipient, et débouchant transversalement à l'axe de la dent correspondante, via un orifice de sortie (32), la tête de distribution (10) comprenant en outre des moyens formant écran (40), disposés de manière à définir avec la (ou les) dents (21-26) de l'organe d'application (20), un volume dans lequel débouche(nt) le (ou les) orifice(s) de sortie (32), ledit volume étant apte à retenir ladite composition, et à être traversé en profondeur par les cheveux, lorsque l'organe d'application (20) est déplacé le long des cheveux. <IMAGE>
