[origin: EP1127530A2] A domestic apparatus has a front-side door on which an adapter plate can be coupled. Fastening elements are provided for the coupling. The adapter plate (7) can be first placed onto the apparatus door by pre-fixing elements (13) and subsequently fastened finally to the apparatus door with the fastening elements. The fastening elements are conventional screws which can be passed through holes (9) located on the apparatus door and screwed into the adapter plate. The pre-fixing elements (13) are screws which can be threaded into keyholes located on the apparatus door. The screws for the pre-fixing of the adapter plate can be used additionally as fastening elements.
