[origin: EP1127809A2] The packaging container (10), in particular, for foodstuffs comprises a pull up lid (2) consisting of a foil (3) joined originally to the container top by a sealing seam (14) and a clamping element (4) which partially surrounds the beaded container rim (13) and is joined to the latter as a result of shape interlocking and/or material bonds. The container is reclosable by means of the clamping element which engages with the beaded container rim.
