The structure has two parallel guide profiles (1) for a carriage (2), to which a transverse edge of the awning material (3) is fixed, which can be coiled on a motor-driven shaft at a higher area of the structure. An automatic lock mechanism acts between the carriage and the guide profiles. The outermost edge (1c) of a lower flange (1a) projecting from a profile tube part (1b) of the guide profile forms both a running profile for rollers (5) of the carriage and a completely free channel for water flowing over the side edge of the awning. One or two flanges project vertically beneath the guide profile, to fix supports or side walls. The outermost running edge has a seat for inserting the running profile. The automatic lock mechanism has a catch (6) with one longitudinal and two transverse slits, to engage a bearing pin (6e) connected to the carriage, at least one adjustable abutment element (7,8) to control the space and the inclination of the catch and an adjustable abutment element arranged above the bearing pin.

Struktur und automatischer, Sperrmechanismus für Markisen bestehend aus zwei zueinander parallelen Führungsprofilen (1) für einen Wagen (2) an welchem einer der Querränder des Markisenstoffes (3) befestigt ist welcher auf einer motorbetriebenen Wickelwelle am höher gelegenen Bereich der Struktur aufwickelbar ist und bestehend aus einem Sperrmechanismus welcher zwischen den Wagen (2) und den Führungsprofilen (1) wirkt, wobei der äußerste Rand (1c) des unteren, vom Rohrprofilkörper (1b) des Führungsprofiles (1), abstehenden Flansches (1a) als Laufprofil für den Wagen (2) wirkt während ein oder zwei Flanschen, welche vertikal nach unten abstehen, die Befestigung von Unterstützungen und/oder von Seitenwänden ermöglichen. Der Sperrmechanismus (6, 60) welcher an den beiden Stirnseiten des Wagens (2) gelagert ist wirkt auf mindestens ein Anschlagelement (8) welches an den Führungsprofilen (1) befestigt ist und auf einen Anschlag (4a) welcher mit dem Wagen (2) verbunden ist. Auf den selben unteren Flanschen (1a) der Führungsprofile (1) laufen ausfahrbare, rohrförmige Auflagen (10) für den Markisenstoff welche, während des Ausfahrens der Markise durch, am Führungsprofil (1) verstellbar befestigte Anschläge (16a, 16b), welche auf zylindrische Ansätze (15a, 15b, 15c) mit progressiv kleinerem Durchmesser wirken um so in verschiedenen Positionen zurückgehalten zu werden. <IMAGE>
