The locking mechanism for extensions (200), flaps, doors and the like and especially in kitchen furniture, has a limit (10) with a block which can be moved in at least two positions. The lock operating unit (30) is linked to the barrier by a shrouded (41) Bowden cable (RTM; sliding control wire within a sheath). In the locked position, the barrier restricts the movements of the limit (10) and, when released, the limit (10) can be moved in relation to the barrier. The barrier is formed by a locking bolt (20), at a rotating rod (50) which is turned by the movements of the cable according to the setting of the operating unit (30).

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Verriegelungsvorrichtung für Auszüge, Klappen und Türen, insbesondere von Küchenmöbeln. Eine von beliebiger Stelle aus zu bedienende Verriegelungsvorrichtung wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch geschaffen, daß die Verriegelungsvorrichtung ein an dem Auszug, der Klappe oder Tür angeordnetes Anschlagelement, ein in wenigstens zwei Positionen bewegbares Sperrelement sowie eine Betätigungsvorrichtung aufweist, die über einen Bowdenzug mit dem Sperrelement in Verbindung steht, wobei die Position des Sperrelementes mittels des Bowdenzuges veränderbar ist und wobei das Sperrelement in eine erste Position (Sperrposition), in der die Bewegbarkeit des Anschlagelementes durch das Sperrelement begrenzt wird, sowie in eine zweite Position (Freigabeposition) bewegbar ist, in der das Anschlagelement relativ zum Sperrelement bewegbar ist. <IMAGE>
