Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1128014A2] The hinge band has a lower (2) part with a hinge pin and an upper (1) part with a sleeve. The upper part has a vertical threaded bore extending upwards from the sleeve. A screw (3) screws into the threaded bore from above. The length of the screw corresponds at least to the length of the upper hinge part, or may be longer than it. The end face of the pin preferably has a cavity into which the screw fits. An Independent claim is included for a kit for a hinge band.
