Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1128029A2] The variable valve control for a reciprocating piston internal combustion motor, using a valve opening camshaft (5) and closing camshaft (6), has a timing gear (12) of rotating gear wheels. The timing gears are concentrated axially on to the camshafts (5,6). The timing gears are set by a common setting wheel (17) operated by the setting motor (13), regulated by the control (14) according to the driving parameters.
