Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1128487A2] The device (2) has a housing (5) for at least partly accommodating the electrical plug (3) and a flexible sleeve (6). An encoding arrangement (1) can be attached to the housing via a manually releasable shape-locking joint, which is formed by shaping the housing to be essentially complementary to the encoding arrangement. The encoding arrangement can be pretensioned to form a force-locking joint. Independent claims are also included for the following: an encoding arrangement for a snapping protection device.
