[origin: DE19941930A1] The invention relates to a fuel injection valve for an internal combustion engine with a valve body which tapers to the combustion chamber forming a ring-shaped shoulder (12) and leads into the combustion chamber into which the valve shaft (9) of the combustion chamber projects. The fuel injection valve is arranged in a receiving bore (6, 7) whereby the diameter of the receiving bore (6,7) decreases in size in the direction of the combustion chamber forming a stopping surface (8). When inserted, a ring-shaped shoulder (12) is pressed onto the stopping and a sealing disk (15) is interposed therebetween. The sealing disk (15) has, on the side facing the body holding the valve seat body (5), a peripheral annular ridge (16) which is interrupted at least at one point and surrounds the ring-shaped shoulder (12) and engages with an undercut formed in theouter casing of the ring-shaped shoulder (12) and whereby it is securely connected to the valve body (Fig. 1).
