[origin: WO0028413A2] A system is disclosed that facilitates web-based user network interface is created by obtaining user profile information, discerning user intentions regarding a plurality of applications based on the profile information and displaying the plurality of applications formatted in accordance with rules in the user profile information on a display. The user is prompted to provide user profile information that is stored in a database. Then, the system acquires additional information about a user based on the user's interaction with applications and updates the database with the interaction information. The profile information is utilized to provide a common user interface for interacting with one or more applications.
