Abstract (en)
The electric drive mechanism has a stator (16), and rotor (14) sitting on the cylinder-axle (12). The stator extends over only part of the rotor's periphery and forms a linear drive unit. The rotor's outer peripheral rim part (18) at least consists of electrically conductive material. The stator has coil-packs (22) on each side of the rotor.

Elektrischer Antrieb für einen Zylinder (10) einer Druckmaschine, mit einem Stator (16) und einem auf der Achse (12) des Zylinders sitzenden Rotor (14), dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Stator (16) sich nur über einen Teil des Umfangs des Rotors (14) erstreckt und mit diesem einen Linearantrieb bildet. <IMAGE>
