[origin: EP1129945A1] The packaging machine consists of a packaging unit (1), a cutlery-conveyor (2) and a folded-serviette (8)-conveyor (3) which has two spaced-apart holders holding at least one needle swiveling on an axle or movable along an axle. The serviette-conveyor has an automatic lifting and swiveling appliance. The serviettes are kept in a storage container (14). The packaging unit incorporates a roller (15) on which is wound packaging material (16)conveyed along transporter rollers (17-19) beneath the cutlery-conveyor.
