Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0838423A2] A bobbin winder assembly, to lead the yarn end to an empty bobbin sleeve, has a retainer formed by the first yarn guide (31) at a controlled drive (33). The drive moves the yarn guide (31) from a guide retention position into a yarn release setting, in a swing movement. The second yarn guide is the opening (30) of a suction unit. When the yarn is to be caught through the catch (4), the first yarn guide (31) is moved to the empty bobbin sleeve (7) and the second yarn guide (30) is located away from the sleeve (7), so that the tensed yarn between them can be brought into the movement path of the rotating catch (4).
