[origin: EP1130182A2] The connector is made from a strip or trapezoidal shaped sheet metal (1) having several spaced bearing faces (3) in one plane each with a fastening opening (6, 7) and several exposed roof faces (4) where at least one through opening (10, 11, 12) is provided in at least one of the exposed faces. the exposed faces are formed by roof or web faces. The wall thickness of the sheet metal is preferably between 0.75 and 3 mm.
