The plate attachable to building facades comprises at least one surface plate (2) of marble, ceramic, stone, metal or some other material which is directly foamed with a carrier layer (1) consisting of a foamable plastic material. Also claimed is a method for producing such a plate. It involves use of at least two liquid components to form a basis for the foaming process.

Fassadenplatte mit mindestens einer Oberflächenplatte (2) vorzugsweise aus Marmor, Stein, Metall, Stahl oder dergleichen, welche an Gebäudefassaden befestigbar ist. Um die Herstellung, den Transport und die Montage solcher Fassadenplatten wesentlich zu vereinfachen, ist vorgesehen, dass die Oberflächenplatte (2) mit einer Tragschicht (1) aus aufgeschäumtem Kunststoff direkt verschäumt ist. <IMAGE>
