Abstract (en)
The volume flow regulator (1), particularly for air-conditioning installation, involves a throttle component (5) in a channel and pivotable around an axis (4) running crossways to the flow direction (a) of a gas. The throttle component, under the effect of the forwardly flowing gas, is pivoted out of the opening position into the closed position. It is pivoted back again into the opening position under the effect of reducing volume flow. The throttle component is formed by a cylinder cover-shaped vane formed on at least one rotary leg (3), the length of which corresponds approximately to that of the leg. On the rotary leg at least one surface component (8) is provided. The axis of the rotary leg is arranged at a short distance from a wall (2) of the channel.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Volumenstromregler (1), insbesondere für klimatechnische Anlagen, mit einem in einem Kanal um eine quer zur Strömungsrichtung eines Gases verlaufende Achse (4) verschwenkbaren Drosselelement (5), wobei das Drosselelement (5) unter Einwirkung des anströmenden Gases aus der Offenstellung in die Schließstellung verschwenkt wird und bei sich verringerndem Volumenstrom wieder in die Offenstellung zurückverschwenkt. Um einen Volumenstromregler (1) anzugeben, der u.a. ein verschleißfreies Drosselelement aufweist und der zudem konstruktiv einfach aufgebaut ist, soll das Drosselelement aus einem an zumindest einem Drehschenkel (3) angeformten, zylindermantelförmig ausgebildeten Flügel (5), dessen Radius in etwa der Länge des Drehschenkels entspricht, bestehen, wobei an dem Drehschenkel (3) wenigstens ein Flächenelement (8) vorgesehen ist, und die Achse (4) des Drehschenkels in geringem Abstand zu einer Wand (2) des Kanals angeordnet sein. <IMAGE>
