[origin: EP1130615A2] A latching- or breaker-mechanism for a LV circuit-breaker has a closing latch (1) supported on a closing half-shaft (2), and an opening latch (3) supported on a release half-shaft (21). Each half-shaft (2,21) is equipped with journals (4) at either end and has a metallic central shaft (5) which carries various functional elements (6-9) jutting out radially. The shaft (5) and the functional elements (6-9) radially jutting out from a half-shaft are designed as an integral metal body manufactured in an original casting/sintering process, especially metal injection moulding (MIM).
