[origin: EP1132156A2] The system for clamping metal rolling tools (3) onto a support base (9) has one set of tool supports (6) clamped to the mounting plate and with a reverse sloping edge facing the second set of tool supports (5) whose base has a sloping edge which locks under the reverse sloping profile when the second supports are secured to the base plate. The sloping edges provide a secure clamping grip using only half the conventional clamping bolts.
