[origin: EP1132549A1] The modular barrier involves each module having a frame of hollow profiles (3,4), filled with a grid (7) extending into longitudinal slots (13) provided in the hollow profiles. In each corner of the frame, the hollow profiles are accommodated with clearance in a corner connector (5). The module is exclusively held together by the grid. The grid bars (8,9) located in the hollow profiles have thickened formations at their edges, the dimensions of which at right-angles to the frame plane exceed the width of the longitudinal slots in the hollow profiles.
