[origin: EP1132554A2] The door opener has an opener catch and a displacement device with a contact surface for force-locking engagement with a lock catch in a door opening. The displacement device can be moved between locking and intermediate positions. At least one catch guide plate has an externally facing guide surface transverse to the displacement direction. The contact surface lies in the vicinity of the guide surface in the intermediate position. The door opener has an opener catch (7) in an opener housing (17) and a displacement device (19,22,26) with a contact surface (9) for force-locking engagement with a lock catch that can be accommodated in a door opening. The displacement device can be moved along a displacement direction at least between locking and intermediate positions. At least one catch guide plate (12) has an externally facing guide surface (13) transverse to the displacement direction. The contact surface lies in the vicinity of the guide surface in the intermediate position.
