[origin: EP1132619A2] The multi-section casing for a hydraulic pump or motor has means(52) between the casing body(14) and cover(16,18) which counteracts an operating pressure conditioned expansion of the casing body taking place in the direction of the supply channels(50). The means are in the form of a cut-out in the cover in which the casing body fits by sections, and the cut-out in its dimensions is matched clearance-free with the external measurements of the casing body in the direction of the supply channels.
