The device has a lamp body and a connection box for mounting on a wall, floor or ceiling and for connecting the electrical power supply. The light body and connection box have complementary electrical connecting elements and can be reversibly connected by a latching device, whereby an electrical connection can be made via the connecting elements during arrangement of the light body and connection box with respect to each other. The device has a lamp body (2) for accommodating and arranging lamp holders, lights, lampshades or similar and a connection box (1) for mounting on a wall, floor or ceiling and for connecting the electrical power supply. The light body and connection box have complementary electrical connecting elements (3,4) and can be reversibly connected by a latching device as a type of plug connector, whereby an electrical connection can be made via the connecting elements during arrangement of the light body and connection box with respect to each other.

Die vorliegenden Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zur Montage und zum elektrischen Anschluß von Leuchten, die einen Leuchtenkörper (2) zur Aufnahme und Anordnung von Lampenfassungen, Leuchtmitteln, Lampenschirmen u. dgl. sowie eine Anschlußbox zur Montage an Wand, Boden oder Decke und zum Anschluß der elektrischen Energieversorgung aufweist, wobei Leuchtenkörper (2) und Anschlußbox (1) jeweils zumindest ein zu einander komplementäres elektrisches Verbindungselement (3, 4) umfassen und über eine Rastvorrichtung (8, 20) lösbar, miteinander in einer Art Steckverbindung verbindbar sind, wobei während der gegenseitigen Anordnung von Leuchtenkörper (2) und Anschlußbox (1) eine elektrische Verbindung über die elektrischen Verbindungselemente (3, 4) herstellbar ist. <IMAGE>
