[origin: WO0030781A1] Locking device for securing a tool in a machine, such as, for example, a bending machine, a pressing machine or the like, where the tool (5) is secured in a tool holder (1) in the machine. The tool (5) has a shaft part (6) which is accommodated in a tool-receiving channel (2) in the tool holder (1) and is secured herein partly by means of a safety arrangement which cooperates with a keyway (3) in the tool holder (1), and partly by means of a locking system. The safety arrangement comprises a hook (12) which is pivotally suspended in an intermediate part (7) of the tool (5). The hook (12) has a latch part (14) which can engage in the keyway (3) when the shaft part (6) of the tool (5) is mounted in the tool holder (1), and in such a manner that the engagement of the hook can easily be released.
