Abstract (en)

[origin: US2002090314A1] The invention relates to a method for producing a sintered part comprised of a powdery material, especially comprised of a sintered metallurgical powder. According to the inventive method, a green compact which forms an elementary shape of the part is firstly compression molded from the powder. The desired final shape of the part is produced by subjecting partial areas of the elementary shape on the green compact to a successive non-cutting shaping. Afterwards, said final shape is finished by sintering.
