Abstract (en)

[origin: DE19839948A1] An electro-luminescent arrangement comprising a substrate, an anode, an electro-luminescent element and a cathode, whereby at least one of the two electrodes is transparent in the visible spectral range and the electro-luminescent element contains one or several zones from the following group in the following order: a hole injection zone, a hole transportation zone, an electro-luminescent zone, an electron transportation zone and an electron injection zone. Each of the available zones can also handle tasks pertaining to the other zones thus indicated. The invention is characterized in that the electro-luminescent element contains a metal complex that is chemically bonded to a fluorescent dye.
