[origin: WO0031831A1] The invention concerns a connection terminal consisting of an insulating box (1) wherein are incorporated: a clamping device (2), for receiving the pre-stripped end of the cable entry (phase or neutral), a clamping device (3), for receiving the pre-stripped end of the out cable (5), and a device for connection the supply cable (7) to the electrical appliance. The two clamping devices (2, 3) consist each of a fixed jaw and a mobile jaw; each mobile jaw, in the form of a clamp screw associated with a nut, is borne by a slide (20) guided in rails provided in the inner surfaces of the insulating box to enable the displacement of said mobile jaw relatively to said fixed jaw by simple translation. Internal means are provided for electrically connecting the clamping device (2) to the supply cable (7) connection device, and to the clamping device (3).
