[origin: WO0021256A2] Hence, according to the invention, a multi-channel multi-access bitstream (B) carrying isochronous channels is accessed, said isochronous channel being used for the transfer of asynchronous traffic, and a data packet from a node connected to said bitstream is received in an isochronous channel thereof.
