Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1134045A2] Laying head has a hollow shaft (8), a tubular holder (9) and a tube (10) for the rolling material. The holder is made partially from a material which has a lower density than steel. Preferred Features: The tubular holder is partially made from aluminum and magnesium or fiber-reinforced plastic. The tube is made from aluminum or magnesium with a ceramic layer on the inner side. A guiding attachment (24) made from a lightweight metal-composite material is connected to the tube.
