The ship's propulsion drive has an electric motor or a diesel engine for rotation of a shaft driving a propeller or a waterjet. The propulsion force provided by the latter is transmitted to the body of the ship by a pressure bearing (9) for the shaft, coupled via an angle-arm foot rail (14) to an elastic mounting (18), forming part of a bearing block (19) secured to the superstructure of the ship.

Bei einem Schiffsantrieb mit einem Elektromotor (1) oder mit Dieselmotoren als Antriebsmaschine wird der Schub eines von einer Wellenleitung (5) getragenen Propellers (8) oder von einem Waterjet über die Wellenleitung (5) in ein Drucklager (9) eingeleitet. Dieses Drucklager (9) ist mittels einer winkelförmigen Fußleiste (14) mit einer elastischen Lagerung (18) verbunden wird, die Bestandteil eines Lagerbocks (19), der fest mit dem Schiffsfundament (7) verbunden ist. <IMAGE>
