Abstract (en)
A method for applying line marking to a road surface is improved by applying a structured surface to the lines. This is achieved by a rotating wheel (1) with radial elastic strips (3) with structured edges (9) to retain some of the marking material and flick it onto the line marking. The strips are temporarily held back by a control plate (21) in the free flow stream of marking material. As the strips are dragged past the control plate they cause the collected material to be flicked onto the line marking to provide a regular surface texture. For non continuous lines an air blast (39) blows drips into a collecting system.

Ein verbessertes Verfahren sowie eine verbesserte Vorrichtung zur Aufbringung einer Straßenmarkierung vorzugsweise in Form einer strukturierten Markierung auf einer Fahrbahn (8) zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass während der Rotationsbewegung vor dem endgültigen Auftrag des Markierungsmaterials auf der Bodenoberfläche (8) die Strukturelemente (3, 9) mittels einer Spanneinrichtung (19) entgegen der Rotationsrichtung des Markierungsdrehkörpers (1) so gespannt werden, dass elastische Spannkräfte in Rotations-und/oder Abgaberichtung mit einer Komponente auf die Fahrbahnoberfläche (8) zu erzeugt werden, und dass das auf der in Rotationsrichtung vorlaufenden Fläche oder Seite der Strukturelemente (3, 9) beförderte Markierungsmaterial unter plötzlicher Entspannung der Strukturelemente (3, 9) auf die Fahrbahnoberfläche (8) geschleudert wird. <IMAGE>
