[origin: EP1134337A2] The lock (12) has a handle (32) and bolt (26) and comprises two inter-connectable housing parts (22, 24). Each housing part has a through bore (60) for the operating device set perpendicular to the assembly side (42) for fixing on a component. The housing part also has at least one opening (52, 54) for the counter member (33) of the bolt. Each housing part can have a socket (62) for the bolt so that when the housing parts are fitted together the two sockets form a bearing (64) for the bolt.
