Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1134348A1] The hinge assembly for a door or window with fixed and opening frames consists of fixed (11) and opening (12) components, the latter being fitted into the edge of the opening frame. The fixed component has at least one strap (17) fastened to the inside of an upright and/or cross-member of the fixed frame and fitted with a supporting plate (22) with adjusters (23). The pivot pin (15) of the hinge is fitted to the curled inner (29) end of the plate, and the fixed assembly is concealed by a cover.
