[origin: WO0034174A2] The invention relates to a scissor-type lift table comprising a lower frame (1), an upper frame (3) which forms a table plane (2), and a scissor-type mechanism (4) which operates between the lower frame (1) and the upper frame (3). The scissor-type mechanism (4) comprises intersecting inner and outer scissor-type elements (5, 6) which can be actuated by a drive and which are provided for lifting and lowering the upper frame (3). The inventive scissor-type lift table prevents a one-sided or asymmetrical overhang of the table plane (2) when the scissor-type mechanism (4) is running up. The invention is characterized in that the scissor-type elements (5, 6) run with all free ends (7) thereof in the guide rails (8) assigned in a fixed manner to the frames (1, 3), and in that the entire scissor-type mechanism (4) can be positioned by a guide device (9), said guide device operating between the scissor-type mechanism (4) and the frames (1, 3), in such a way that scissor-type mechanism (4) is positioned at each angular position of the scissor-type elements (5, 6) at least in a largely centrical manner in relation to or under the upper frame (3).
