Abstract (en)
[origin: WO0031201A2] This invention provides a self-adhesive article which is capable of being placed against a surface and repositioned or slid on that surface provided that not more than a predetermined degree of pressure is applied to the article during positioning. The article, such as a wall covering, has an adhering surface coated with an adhesive layer bearing microparticles. An optional moisture barrier layer is provided so as to inhibit the effects of water penetration into the article. A method of producing such an article is also provided.
