[origin: DE19855224A1] The invention relates to a refrigerating apparatus (10) such as a no-frost apparatus, refrigerator, freezer or the like with a heat-insulating housing (11). In said housing, at least one storage room (15) for accommodating stored goods is provided. Said storage room can be subjected to cool air by a fan (21). Said housing also has an evaporator room (18) for accommodating a self-defrosting evaporator (19). Said evaporator room is at least substantially thermally separate from the storage room (15) by a heat-insulating separating plate (22). Said separating plate (22) is at least substantially provided with a highly thermoconductive surface on the side (27) facing the evaporator (19).
