[origin: FR2786970A1] The invention concerns a method for setting up a communication between a first terminal and a second terminal (T1, T2) via a computer communication network (1) wherein: the first terminal (T1, T2) connects itself to the computer network, obtains a computer address and sends to a call and communication server (3) of the computer network (1) a request for calling the second terminal (T2) to communicate with it via the computer network (1); the server notifies the first terminal call to the second terminal through a one-way communication, of the server to the second terminal, and the second terminal automatically identifies the call notification; the second terminal connects itself to the computer network and obtains a computer address; and the server (3) transmits to at least one of the two terminals (T1, T2) the computer address of the other terminal (T1, T2).
