Abstract (en)
The inner shell (3) of the protection cap is divided into a central segment (15), protecting the top of the skull, two side areas (18,19), a front (16) and a back segment (17) by gaps (22,23), which facilitate the outer segments (16,17,18,19) to be bent in order to follow the individual shape of the head of the user. The outer shape (1,2) is designed like a baseball cap with a triangular gap (11) at the back. For adjusting the hem (6) is folded open, two strips (10), positioned beside the gap (11) are pulled into an overlappig position, fixed with strips of Velcro(RTM)(7,9), and the hem (6) is folded in again.

Eine Schutzkappe, bestehend aus einer elastisch verformbaren Hartschale (3) und einer diese aufnehmenden Hülle. Die Hartschale (3) hat ein oberes, auf der Schädeldecke aufliegendes Schädeldeckenteil (15), ein Vorderkopfteil (16), ein Hinterkopfteil (17) sowie zwei Seitenteile (18, 19). Weiterhin weist die Hartschale (3) zwei Gelenke (20, 21) auf, welche jeweils durch zwei symmetrisch von entgegengesetzten Seiten in die Hartschale (3) hineinführende Ausnehmungen (22, 23) gebildet sind. Die Hülle hat Verstellmittel zum Verstellen des Umfangs ihres über den Kopf greifenden unteren Randes (8). <IMAGE>
