Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1136203A2] The feed unit has a grab jaw with spikes, which penetrate into the sausage etc. The grab jaw is formed as a turnable cylinder sector (14) with spikes on its cylinder surface. It has an electrical resp. electromagnetic pivot drive and is height-adjustable, esp. raised and lowered electrically. The support carriage (2) for the sausage has rollers on its base, and the cylinder sector is supported on it via a pivot axis, which is orientated in movement direction of the carriage.
