[origin: EP1136428A2] The lifting device has at least one telescopic device with hollow telescopic strip (1) and a telescopic cylinder (4), also a base element (2) and at least one extendable telescopic element (3a, 3b, 3c). The telescopic elements and base element are in the form of hollow strips of circular cross section. A groove and a spring guide (7) prevent the telescopic elements turning relative to each other.
