Abstract (en)
The assembly for handling and mixing fiber materials has an inclined lattice apron (100) and a powered return system, which acts on given zones. At the working zones (AB), the drive is set so that the apron and the return unit move in the same direction. A deflection plate is over the return unit, at a suitable gap over the return surface, so that surplus fiber material is passed back into the fiber store. A projection is over the working zone, which transits into the deflection plate. The return unit is a rotating return roller (17) with a clothing and preferably a plate clothing. The surface speed of the return roller is faster than the movement speed of the apron surface, and preferably 4-8 m/sec. faster, where the apron surface travels at a speed of 0.1-3.0 m/sec., and the roller rotates with a surface speed of 5-10 m/sec. and preferably 7.33 m/sec. The surface speed of the doffer roller, at a preferred rate of 7-10 m/sec. and especially 8.63 m/sec., is faster than the movement speed of the apron surface. The fibers are carried onwards by a transport system with a pipe and a carrier air stream. The relative positions can be set for the return roller in relation to the apron and the doffer roller in relation to the apron, while the machine is in operation. The working zone is at the deflection point of the inclined lattice apron.

Faserverarbeitungsmaschine (bsp. ein Mischer zum Mischen von Fasern), mit einer Entnahmevorrichtung zum Entnehmen der Fasern aus dem Mischer, wobei die Entnahmevorrichtung ein Steiglattentuch und eine drehbare Rückführwalze umfasst. Ein Antrieb für die Walze kann derart betätigt werden, dass im Arbeitsbereich zwischen dem Steiglattentuch und der Walze, die Walze sich im Gleichlauf mit dem Tuch bewegt. <IMAGE>
