Abstract (en)
The guide bar (10), for a rolling shed loom, has a number of spaced openings (10a) for the warps (3). The openings (10a) each have two end sections (10b,10d) with a guide section (10c) between them. The end openings (10b,10d) are wider than the intermediate guide section (10c). The maximum width of the end opening sections (10b,10d) is larger than the maximum width of the linking guide section (10c) by a factor of 5-10. The bar openings (10a) have a longitudinal shape, parallel to each other, at right angles to the longitudinal line of the guide bar (10). The guide bar (10) has two planes, along its longitudinal line, to give it an L- or U-shape. The bar openings (10a) give a warp threading opening section (10b) at one end, and a warp outlet opening section (10d) at the other end. The threading section (10b) is longer and/or narrower than the outlet opening section (10d). An Independent claim is included for a warp laying system at the rolling shed loom, with a number of guide supports with moving warp guide bars (10). A warp deflector is between neighboring guide supports. Preferred Features: The warp deflector is parallel to the guide bars (10), and especially is directly close to the guide supports. The guide bars (10) are fitted so that a warp (3) for laying is passed through the opening (10a) in the guide bar (10), to move over the deflector of the adjacent or the same guide bar (10). The warp guide bars (10) and the deflector are matched to the loom rotor position so that the warps (3) run within the guide opening sections (10c) of the guide bar openings (10a) during normal weaving. The deflector is of a wear-resistant material such as metal or ceramics. The guide supports are of plastics.
