Abstract (en)
The cutter at a loom, to trim the inserted weft yarns at the fabric edges, has two blades (3,6) where at least one blade is operated by a drive as a linear motor (7) with an electrical current supply. The first blade carrier (2) is fixed at a mounting surface (1). The linear motor (7) is at an offset angle to the first blade carrier (2), on the mounting surface (1). At least one blade carrier (5) is the rotor of the linear motor. The moving blade carrier can swing on a pivot axis at the mounting surface (1), at the end away from the blade. The linear motor (7), with an angular offset, has an oscillating to-and-fro movement motion. The linear motor (7) has a path movement monitor (24) to register the position of the blade carrier.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Fadenschneidvorrichtung für Webmaschinen mit zwei auf einer Montagefläche (1) angeordneten, zueinander beweglichen Klingen (3,6), wobei wenigstens eine der Klingen (3,6) durch einen Antrieb (7) betätigbar ist. Die Erfindung zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass der Antrieb als elektrisch bestromter Linearmotor ausgebildet ist, wodurch eine kompakte, flache Bauweise mit wenigen beweglichen Teilen erreicht wird. <IMAGE>
