Abstract (en)

A vertical-lift gate, especially designed as a sectional gate with several sections connected together to a gate sheet in hinge-like fashion, is sealed at posts bounding the door opening at the sides as well as being guided and able to be raised/lowered by a drum driven above the gate sheet. The sealing devices (28,31) lying to the sides at the gate sheet consist of a wear-free material and heat sources (29,30) are assigned to them. The sections (10-12) are designed with heat sources located in spatial proximity to the sealing devices. Near the sealing devices in the region of the posts (2) or sealing carriers (17) and/or in the drive box (6), heating devices are located.
