Abstract (en)

The motor (6) has a piston linked to the crankshaft via the connecting rod. A machine (10) is slowing down the rotation of the motor so that the crankshaft is in a chosen position when the motor stops. An Independent claim is also included for the positioning device.

Le moteur thermique (6) comporte un vilebrequin mobile en rotation autour d'un axe dont on règle la position angulaire autour de son axe de rotation, pour le placer dans une position angulaire prédéterminée, à l'aide d'une machine tournante électrique (10) reliée en rotation au vilebrequin du moteur thermique (6). Le positionnement du vilebrequin dans sa position angulaire idéale prédéterminée peut être réalisé pendant l'arrêt du moteur thermique (6) ou après l'arrêt complet du moteur thermique (6), par recalage. La machine tournante électrique (10) peut être constituée par un alternateur réversible d'un moteur de traction d'un véhicule automobile. <IMAGE>
