Abstract (en)
The detector houses a magnetic switch (17). A magnet (7) is supported on an arm (2) which is clamped to the shaft (18) of the door handle (10). A clamp screw (9) retains the arm on the door handle shaft. The length and position of the support arm may be adjusted by a screw (8). Attempted movement of the door handle causes movement of the magnet and hence operation of the magnetic switch. The detector (1) includes a buzzer (3), and a self-adhesive pad (4) for attachment to the door. A first cavity (5) provides space for a battery, and a second cavity (6) accommodates the electronic circuit. The detector houses a magnetic switch (17).
