[origin: DE19857204A1] The aim of the invention is to develop a liquid formulation of a foam control system containing silicone and/or paraffin and bis-fatty acid amide which can be handled with a low-viscosity and at low temperatures and which has the lowest possible proportion of constituents not contributing to its foam control capacity. To this end, the inventive foam control system essentially comprises an aqueous foam control emulsion containing 16 wt. % to 70 wt. % of a paraffin wax and/or silicone oil-based active foam control agent, 2 wt. % to 15 wt. % non-ionic and/or anionic emulsifier and not more than 80 wt. % water. The foam control emulsion is preferably used for producing particulate foam control granulates for use in detergents.
