[origin: WO0034577A1] The invention relates to a transfer means for transferring a threading strip or a web of material within a machine for producing and/or treating the web of material from a take-over zone to a transfer zone along the path of the material. The transfer means comprises a suction tube (33) which can be impinged upon with reduced pressure and a receiving head (1) which is connected to the suction tube (33). Said receiving head (1) has an air duct (3) which has an inlet opening (13) for the treading strip/the web of material and which is connected to the suction tube (33). The inventive transfer means is especially characterized in that at least one nozzle (15, 17, 37) is used to introduce an additional current into the air duct (3) and/or into the suction tube (33).
